About Us
Every athlete, professional, amateur, or enthusiast, wants to be at their peak. Massage is an important part of achieving top performance. We combine several modalities of massage based on the client’s needs, but typically we focus on Thai Stretching to increase flexibility and to reduce tendonitis; Trigger Point and Esalen for knot and inflammation reduction; and Tui-Na with myofascial for lactic acid reduction and circulation increase. While many massage practitioners focus on one modality, we focus on understanding the mechanics of the body. No one technique is right for every client, but the science of how the body works is the same for every person, and we believe that science should be the basis for every treatment.
Performance is not just about the body, it is also about the mind. While we don’t have to talk about your week, and the sources of your stress. We find that often the conversation about why a given spot hurts or what goals you want to achieve help to form relationships in the mind between that part of the body, and the desired outcome. These relationships in the mind help the body to both focus on healing, and growth.
We know you are busy and so we provide an onsite shower. No matter if you are coming from a workout and need to shower before the massage, or if you are going to another function after your treatment and want to remove the oil or lotion, we have clean well-cared for facilities to accommodate you.
Massage is offered in compliance with all State and Local health codes, and you will be draped at all times.
Our San Jose Location
It is hard to feel that a massage is part of training when it is in a setting with women getting their toenails painted. We have created an environment that will make you feel welcome, but that maintains the proper aesthetic to keep you focused on your goals.
When you enter our San Jose Location our recently remodeled studio is warm and inviting with modern décor. We chose a crisp clean color palette that we feel appeals to a wide range of client’s. Our male clients said they wanted a place that looked professional and had a masculine color scheme, and our female clients said they wanted soft lights and organic colors and décor.
We feel we captured both of their requests nicely with our soft grey walls, clean white partitions, comfortable chocolate seating, rich dark wood furniture, and frosted glass door cabinetry.
